Dr. Van Niekerk completed his medical training at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1997. He arrived in Winkler in 2000 and went back to South Africa in 2003 to receive further training in Internal Medicine. He is a certificant of the College of Family Medicine of Canada. He also holds a diploma in Sports Medicine from the Academy of Sport Medicine of Canada. His practice includes Obstetrics.
