Dr. Fawzi Mazek

Dr. Fawzi Mazek (MBChB, Msc, F.R.C.S.C.) completed Medical School in Libya in 1992 and obtained a Master's degree in Orthopaedic Surgery from Egypt in 1997. In 2001, after working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Libya, he moved to Canada, where he successfully completed his training in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Manitoba in a program that is affiliated with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This training was followed by a one-year Spine Surgery Fellowship, which he completed in June of 2009. His areas of interest are mainly in upper and lower limb Arthroplasty, upper and lower limb scopes, sport, reconstruction orthopaedic surgery, foot and ankle, hand surgery, adult and pediatric trauma, and spine surgery.
